When people only care for a month every 4 years that's the definition of a fad. I don't hate soccer. I could be seated in the "don't care one way or the other" section. It's interesting with the amount of coverage and promotion that it drew as much as America's Got Talent. And that's when the Yanks play. It draws worse ratings than WWE Monday NIght Raw when it's other countries. The Olympic men's snowboarding halfpipe drew more than double the ratings as the US/Portugal match.
