We didn't have any tornadoes last night but I was already a little on edge because K and I both heard a weird noise around 12 that sounded like something coming in or going out the dog door (both dogs were in the bedroom with us). After a walkthrough I tried to go to sleep, but I knew the storm was imminent and right about the time I finally drifted off, it hit. We didn't get any hail at out house, but the wind and rain were fierce. It lasted until about 2:30 and I think I actually went to sleep for good some time after 3.

Woke up turned on the TV to find several tornados had touched down around the Cleburne area and they're moving my way. Takes over and hour and a half for them to finally arrive because this was a slow moving storm. Civil defense sirens started going off about 12:45, so I got in the closet for about 10-15 minutes. Finally got out and started watching the news again. They called the all clear around 1:15, but still had some serious thunder and rain going on so I couldn't just get back to sleep. Woke up to no power this AM and exhausted from the 2.5 hour interruption in the night.

Glad you were able to finally come out of the closet.
