Fuck online poker. I renounce online poker. I will never set foot in an online card room again...and I love online card rooms.

Done with online poker.

Are you going back to live games because you miss the possibility of armed bandits busting down the door?
Your existence is not impossible, but it’s also not very likely.

Poker is equal parts skill and luck.

When I win, it’s a game of skill. When my opponent wins, it’s a game of luck.

I actually went back about...probably 2007/2008 and deposited $1 to see what I could turn it into. Playing more as an experiment than a money-making venture.... Starting at .01/.02, working my way up to 24 tables at a time, gradually increasing the stakes....just playing straightforward "textbook" style....until I got to a point where I was just playing at break-even. I think this happened at .50/$1 or maybe it was $1/$2 that I couldn't beat anymore (if playing 16-24 tables which is necessary to make it worthwhile). So I got bored of it, cashed out $4000 (but at an hourly rate that was completely unacceptable) and have not gone back in at least 1 1/2 years. The last hand that served as a catalyst was interesting though. I had the nut flush on the flop and a guy moved in on me and turns over a flush draw...but not exactly drawing dead. The turn card gave him a gut-shot straight flush draw, and I had time to utter "If they put the 6 of clubs on the river, I fu*%ing quit". So he hits the straight flush on the river, I hit X on the table, click to cash out all (which honestly I was waiting for the right dramatic moment to do so anyway).....redeemed all my FPP for an iPod and about a dozen Harrington books that I sold on Ebay and one PokerStars T-Shirt that I threw in the trash when it arrived....clicked uninstall and removed everything about about the same speed that I'm typing it here.
