Here is a softball post.

Me and Edavis have a team over in Waxahachie.

Currently sitting at 4-1 in a first place tie thanks to some shut down pitching from Edavis and pretty much no contribution from me whatsoever. Well I do fill out the lineup card so I guess I contribute a little bit.

Anybody else playing this Spring?

I'm semi-retired from softball... played in the fall and couldn't buy a hit in about half of the games.

I am struggling at the plate this season. I honestly think it is because I have lost so much weight that I am out in front of everything and I feel like I have no "pop" left.

This is my 2nd stint playing with someone on this board. The last time Seth came and played with my team who hadn't lost a game in like 5 years and we lost. You will never live that one down Seth....NEVER!

That hat in your avatar makes me laugh everytime I look at it. Why is it that MLB baseball players have to wear 10 gallon hats? They look ridiculous.

After playing for years, Father Time and Mother Nature finally convinced me to hang it up. a-holes. I might come out of retirement just to spite them, but I better start putting aside the hospital bill $$ now...

Yeah my Dad tore his rotator cuff and is relegated to just watching now. You can tell it is killing him to not get to play.

Rebels take sole posession of 1st with an 18-10 win over the team we were tied with.

We were beating the dog shit out of them, but the umps blew some calls that let them back in game.

I came out of retirement for 1 game 3 years ago.

Got a hit first time up (Thinking... Hey I can still do this!) Later in the game... Grounded out 3 times...in the same inning!

Frustrating game last night. I was about ready to come to blows with 3 or 4 guys who kept hitting shots up the middle. We lost by 1 run. I am 8 for my last 9 and Chay moved me down 3 spots in the batting order....hmmm.

Last night sucked. I couldn't get to sleep last night, becuase I kept thinking about how we blew that one.

Honestly, I don't care where I hit...I figure the further I move down the less chance I have that I will have to run too often. Let all the guys whose feelings will get hurt if they move bat in front of me. Your brother shouldn't lead off though.
