Help me help you...

what features would you like to see on LMFZ?

Postby Drew Corleone on Wed Apr 09, 2003 3:52 pm

Don't say softball scores, Peabody!

We are thinking of making some new additions to the site, including background on the LM and also some original content. What kinds of things would you, our paisanos (I know i butchered that) like to see?

I wasn't planning on saying it. I was just going to type it. Now, I won't even do that. Instead, I will just do a little cut and paste quote job with a little bit of bold added for emphasis.

I will give your question some thought!

What ideas have the cartel came up with so far.

I say scrap Garbage Gab all together.

Scrap f this. Change it to a Ho Hum thread to bitch and complain about things. Trash Talk/Garbage Gab can be posted here.

Save The Top 10 Lists but add to it: The Top Ten Best and Worst Lists.

Scrap Ask the Consigliere. Make it a Politics and News board with UTexHorn running it. I don't like that Makaveli guy.

I haven't had much time for adding new features lately, but it is on my "To Do" Task List in Microsoft Outlook... Maybe this weekend I'll take care of it...

No, we don't need to do anything with the boards.

Yet.

It's not really bad the way it is. I was just offering some ideas.

I'm curious about the background changes and whatever other ideas that everyone is not posting.

Biggest need is more posters and more posting. If all the members would post more we wouldn't even need more posters.

It wouldn't hurt the board to be more Sooner Friendly either.

We're thinking of adding something like a weekly column by Drew and/or I, a LM Hall of Fame, Top Ten LM Stories in Cartoon Format, history of the LM, etc.

I suppose people could do this anyway, but you guys should put more of your personal writing on the site. Actual articles and such.

I still say we should have a "Drunk Tank" forum for all the late night drunk posts.

part of the charm of the drunk post is seeing which forum the drunkard decides to post in

I say we have a "Nobody cares about your poker stories forum" that way people who do actually care will go there to read them.

Eric might enjoy poker stories a bit more if he actually won.

E, you'll notice that I didn't post any stories about Daddy's big winnings last week.
why don't you run back to the sandbox where the rest of the kids are playing so the adults can have a discussion...it's over there....you see Howie, he's over there with PMS knocking over other kids sandcastles...looks like fun.

Yeah, that is true I may enjoy them more if I won but I would also enjoy playing more if you didn't invite irritating, controlling, know it all WOMEN to play in a poker game.... #-o

No offense to any of the women here but I think poker should be for the boys...if the girls want to play let them have their own game...when I go to play it is to get away from all of that hormone crap.

No arguments here. Poker should definitely be for the boys. Just like golf imo.
