Time limit between posts

Postby U2-Horn on Sat Feb 26, 2005 9:36 pm

can we reduce it to 3 seconds or something? I know it's somewhat useful to eliminate the dreaded double posting, but it's annoying to have to wait 15 seconds or whatever it currently is set at to make a quick edit on a typo or somesuch.

I concur to.

I'm sick and tired of trying to edit a misspelled word and having to wait to post again because I cannot post so quickly after just making a f'ing post.

It's March 12th now. Damn, that must be a really time consuming administrative task to do.

Looks like Sooners don't know that when the clock hits 12:00 AM that the day on the calendar advances.

Simon is too busy hating on 50 Cent to notice these things.

No the problem is this board is configured for GMT -5 unless you login and your profile is configured otherwise. At GMT -5 Peabody's post was after the date change.

I just wasn't paying attention to the fact that I wasn't logged in because lmfanzone.com never keeps me logged in.

I used to never have a problem with logging in. It was automatic at home or at work. It's still good at work. But at home now for some reason I have to log in each time, and it's the same with BOFZ, so I think the problem is on my end.

Probably a setting or something, but I haven't been able to figure out what. It started doing it about the time I installed a new version of Norton software, so maybe that has something to do with it.
