Pissed off about Bad Haircuts.

I told you guys that my hair cut girl, Summer, was moving to California. She's gone. This is my second hair cut since she left. Tried out this one cute chick, Sunny, at another place. She couldn't get it right. Tried another girl at another place today. She couldn't get it right. My old haircut girl gave me her cell phone # to call her if I had any problems. She said she would tell the new person how to cut my hair. I want to call her, but I would feel stupid doing it.

My hair cut style is not really difficult. I call it the Gladiator cut. Remember Russell Crowes hair style in that movie. That's how I do mine. When I saw that movie, I thought his haircut looked cool. It was short, stylish, and easy to maintain. My old haircut girl got that cut perfected on me. Should could probably do it with her eyes closed. The trick is to get the short bangs cut uneven and a little jaggedy. They have to be just the right length too. These new people are getting the bangs to short and cutting them straight. They're giving me a dork look now. I'm pissed.

Ah yes, the Caesar.

I tried that my freshman year of college, but the stylists would do just like you described--too straight across the front.

So I ended up looking either gay, like a dork, or Jim Carrey in Dumb & Dumber.

Now I just go for the messy look.

Jim Carrey in Dumb and Dumber. Classic Style.

I tried the "Pushed forward except for the short bangs which stand straight up" once. Turns out I am too ugly AND too old for that one.

My new haircut girl is going to London for 2 months starting this coming Friday. Once again, I will have to for a replacement. :red:

One day I am just going to walk in, hand the girl $20, and tell her to shave the whole damn thing clean off. Tie me to the chair if you have to, just scalp me. I can always wear a fucking hat.

I'm ready for a haircut. This really sucks. I'm going to have to go to some new person *again* and get a haircut that I don't like. I don't need this shit. :red:

My niece in Ponca City cuts hair, but that may be too far to drive even for a good hair cut. :?

my hair cutter is awesome, and only 4 doors down from my work.

It's a good deal.

Since my regular girl is gone to London for two months and I needed a new haircut, I tried this chick that I tried once before about 2 years ago.

Last time I tried her, she was just a few weeks out of barber school. She got it right today. Best haircut I've had since my favorite hair cutter moved to California to be a yoga instructer.

BTw she is cheap. She only charges 12 bucks. That new girl that I found that went to London charges 20 bucks. That's outrageous.

Correction, she charges $12.50 per men's hair cut. Like I said in the earlier post, my old hair cutter charged $20. I think that was unfair.

At the next haircut, I'm going to tell my current hair cutter to raise her haircuts to at least $15. Today, I wrote her a check for $20. Sometimes, I write a check for $13.50. Today, she gave me a free eyebrow wax.

I really don't like tipping for service oriented tasks except for waitressing. I figure that if they want a tip, they should just add the desired tip amount or whatever they want to the price of the service.

Peabody got an eyebrow wax. Good for you!
I'm always threatning Paul that he's going to get one the next time we go to the salon.
Let this be a lesson to the rest of you boys...its not gay to groom your eyebrows. Can't be walking around with a unibrow or grandpa eyebrows.

$15, wow!

Next time she said it will cost me $5. I wouldn't pay $15 for a wax. That's more than my haircut.

Men's haircut = 3 words = "High and tight". And no, I was never in the military (or worse, an Aggie), but I did live in Jacksonville, FL for a year (near a Naval base), so I guess that's why I got used to it.

Hope that Caesar is working out for you, Peabody....don't forget to wax  .....Smooth

yep no reason to pay for a wax if its more than the haircut, maybe you can make a drew face and get a free one...

I have a haircutting issue...the last couple of times I have gone to get a haircut, I've sat down in the chair, looked in the mirror, and thought to myself, "Hey, that isn't so bad afterall."

:x

It looks better when done, of course, but I torture myself sometimes.
