Got one at Macy's Saturday.

They have the burnt orange one with the white horse and the white one with the burnt orange horse.

I wonder if this is an Austin Macy's only item?

I'm not sure. Someone on HornFans mentioned that they also had maroon ones, (they didn't have those at the Domain), so perhaps it's a Texas stores thing.

Ah...couldn't find any on the net. Tried taking a picture with our digital but the color doesn't really come out that well.

Went to Hulen today and they have them.

They are truly burnt orange. Like the color of the jerseys.

Have I just been shopping at the outlet too long or have polos always been $75 retail?

They've been about that. It does indeed suck.

Jebus H Cripes.

I haven't looked at those in forever . . . I thought they were $52.50. I coulda sworn all of them were that price when I was buying them at an alarming rate a couple years ago.

Yeah I never remember paying more than $55 or $60 for one.

For a Polo that will honestly last you at least 5+ years, depending on your tendency to fall into muddy, urine-soaked creekbeds, I don't think that $75 is all that outrageous. I have one that I've worn at least once a week since Fall semester of my senior year in college.

Not really complaining about it, but it def. caught me off guard.

By the way I think this must be a Macy's exclusive, because Dillards didn't have them.

What is outrageous to me is not necessarily the $75 dollars, it's the $20 mark up. Not saying it isn't worth it.

Are you guys referring to the collar t-shirt type or the the long sleeve dress up type?

btw, you don't always have to pay the full price. Prices are always negotiable if you really/really try hard.

btw, I haven't bought any polos in awhile.

Last time I did, I got some for about $20 less that sticker. The sales person wouldn't budge, so I asked to talk to her manager. It took a while, but I got them down.

At the same time, I was supposed to be keeping an eye on my then 4 or 5 year old daughter. We were in Dillards during Christmas shopping season.

Much to my surprise, after the wheeling and dealing was done, I couldn't find my daughter. We, my wife and mom and dad, looked frantically all over the place for her. We couldn't find her. Panic was sitting in. We finally ventured out of Dillards into the open part of the mall.

The mall was packed as hell needless to say. Luckily, I spotted my daughter sitting on some old grandma and grandpa's lap that were taking it easy on a bench.

I can't tell you how pissed my wife was. good grief, that brings back bad memories. wasn't even worth it. Needless to say, I've never lost my daughter again.

Just talked to Jeremy.

Me and him both went and bought one today.

Which begs the question.

How many people at one tailgate can be dressed alike?

I like Jeremy's take that we are going to look like a Catholic School.

I'm not going to be wearing mine to the tailgate. I like the dri-fit on hot days.

I'm not wearing mine to the game, probably ever.

Possibly on Friday, but not Saturday.

I'm getting flashbacks to an old LFZ thread about everyone sporting black t-shirts or some such thing as a way to send a message to Mack & Co.

Good times.

I'll be wearing the orange this weekend. TCU weekend is a surprise (new addition).
