Ranking the Hours of the Workday

From best to worst:

8.) 4 PM: You are about to go home. Can be the longest of the day.

7.) 3 PM: Almost there.

6.) 11 AM: Almost lunch time. Usually a penalty killing hour.

5.) 9 AM: Usually a busy hour that goes by quickly. Contains Gordo's Corner.

4.) 1 PM: Usually still on a "was just out of this place for an hour" high.

3.) 10 AM: The middle morning doldrums start to set in. Norm starts.

2.) 8 AM: Still waking up, and when you do wake up you realize you have to be at this place for 8 more hours.

1.) 2 PM: The lunch afterglow is done, and you still have 3 hours left at this place. The after lunch fatigue starts to set in. It sucks.

5:45 p.m. Start to power down the laptop and make for the parking garage, with wishful thinking that surely by now the commute traffic has died down some
6:00 p.m. At a standstill on the on-ramp and sadly realizing that the commute traffic has not, in fact, died down one bit

Funny topic

My favorite is 10am to 11am, by far.

The worst is early morning 7-9am followed closely by 3-4pm

I oddly have no problems with midday, early afternoon, or late afternoon/evening
