Well, I wasn't going to do this, but I figured it might be worth a laugh. Seriously, I like only the mainstream hits of groups. I know, I know my musical tastes suck, but WTF. Maybe it's because I play this sh** over and over a few nights a week at the club that it has me jaded. Of course I always seem to have people up and dancing, so maybe I'm not the only dork? :D

I present to you DJ Caspar's (notofficialname, notofficialname, notofficialname) faves. (You've been warned!)

Commodores: Brick House
Kool & The Gang: Celebration
Earth, Wind and Fire: September
Gap Band: Dropped a Bomb On Me
B-52's: Love Shack
Village People: YMCA
Wild Cherry: Play That Funky Music White Boy
Cheryl Lynn: Got To Be Real
Emotions: Best of My Love
AC/DC: Shook Me All Night Long

George Strait: All My Exes Live In Texas
Little John: Get Low
Black Eyed Peas: My Humps or Get it Started (tie. sue me)
Garth Brooks: Friend in Low Places
Prince: Kiss
Michael Jackson: Don't Stop Til You Get Enough or Billie Jean (another tie)
Billy Idol: Mony Mony
Isley Brothers: Shout
Romantics: What I love about you
Steely Dan: Hey Nineteen

Uhm, yeah, ok. Now that I looked at my list, I am a dork. Geez, talk about a wedding reception list! I suck!

Only edit from the originals
Reckless Kelly - Lonely All The Time

New Ones
Farewell Milwaukee - Roses On My Grave
DBT - Decoration Day, but Outfit is damn close
Oasis - Don't Look Back In Anger
The Head & The Heart - Down In The Valley
Bingham - Dollar A Day, but Hallelujah is close
Black Keys - Little Black Submarines
JTNL - Pardon Me
Old 97s - Dammit. I've changed this one three times now. But I'm sticking with Big Brown Eyes.
The Stones - Tough one, but I think I'm leaning to Can't You Hear Me Knocking
Isbell - Super hard to choose here, but I think it's Soldiers Get Strange
Avett Bros - Absolutely impossible to choose. I feel like Paranoia In B Major and Please Pardon Yourself are probably the top two, but just too many to chose from.

Would probably change The Decemberists song to something off of The Hazards Of Love and the New Pornographers song to something off of Electric Version, but other than that I'd stick with what I originally posted.

Stuff I've picked up on since then:

Avett Brothers - Talk On Indolence, although if they continue the current shittastic career trajectory they began with their last album, they're not going to be a favorite band for long.
Isbell - The Magician
Quiet Company - The Easy Confidence
The Head and the Heart - Coeur d' Aline
Your existence is not impossible, but it’s also not very likely.
