Hey Drew...

We should invite TSD the next time we go to Friday's w/ Chuck.

I'll bring the Flak jackets, if you'll get the earplugs.

haha... their personalities actually do remind me of each other... except when Charles tells you about hooking up with a chick, you know he did. And when Charles tells you he was at last week's game, you know he was. And when Charles says he had a business meeting last week, he did. And when Charles talks about driving his BMW, he did.

So yeah, if tsd had friends, had game, and had an actual job, and drove a car that wasn't a shitty brown truck, he would be similar to Charles.

The hyperventilating about Nordgren and Griffin being cited for misdemenor intimidation would be funny if it weren't so fucking pathetic.

Am I the only one that doesn't give a shit about Matt Nordgren, Cedric Griffin, and apathetic JonwithnoH?

Your pussy ass was intimidated by members of the most unintimidating team in history. Just give 'em the Horns down next time and they'll cower away.

BTW, the way he's an ass for putting those physics equations up in the diatribe. What a tool. Does that add to his credibility? I guess one guy decides on posting his wealth for credibility and this guy chose physics for his.

Now that football season is winding down for a bit, the douchebags are infesting the basketball board...

When you're HornsFan in GatorLand, a football coach is a genius if he puts his team in a postition to have to depend on some other team to open the back door to the BCS for his team, but a basketball coach sucks if his team loses one early season non-conference game to a top 10 team:

Pull your panties out of your Asses ya'll, I simply said that Barnes is a fool if he thought that we could man up against 'Zona, and please don't talk up the thread I posted and reposted about the BCS - if you had half a brain, you'd see that I was 110% on the money with what I said...."If we win out, we have a legit chance of making a BCS"...and yes, I was right on the mark...we were in, if OU doesn't lose that game, dipshit!
We're in BBall season now, and I'm a bit frustrated to see Moreno not running the show more...he is a natural point...give him the damn ball and let Ivey play his natural two spot....

Barnes is a quality coach, yet as a coach you're supposed to adjust to what's not going right, and we had NO chance of winning that game playing man-to-man...irregardless of whether or not that's our style...we need to adjust and play zone against a more athletic team...

If you disagree, you all are in for a long season of disappointment, b/c we have the talent on the court and in suits, but we have to adjust to how we're playing and who we're playing against!!!!

Let's not forget chitown horn, who wants to remind us that all of our seniors should be subjected to public hanging on the West Mall for not going undefeated:

I guess I am most disappointed in the lack of leadership by the seniors on this team. I know I have said it before, but I think in a game of this magnitude early in the season they need to be the ones who drive the 'moxi' of the team. They did not do that against Arizona. We have 4 seniors that need to lead this team down the road we all expect them to be.

I just caught these gems from tsd:

I know that if someone is saying that and claiming sources, they are just trying to stir the pot of controversy.

Four locked threads on the Recruiting Board? Jeez, people are getting testy!

By the way, doing italics and similar shit is easier on this board. Can you clue Wheeler in on how to update his software?

When Bay Area Horn posts:

Rick Barnes is a warrior. He rarely makes technical mistakes, hardly complains about calls, treats his players like men (by holding them accountable on the court), and does many other positive things. This guy should be signed for a long time.

Mack Brown isn't fit to hold Barnes' jockstrap.

What he really means is:

While I am happy with the basketball team's performance against Kansas, I am so pathologically obsessed with Mack Brown that not even a complete asswhipping of the Jayhawks can make me let go of it for five minutes

It's almost impossible to read a basketball or baseball thread without a reference to Mack Brown.

I don't know why I even bother to look at the Basketball board after a loss.

As one of my sons friends' shirt says, "second place is the first loser".

Lately, I've been trying to figure out where the hell my life went wrong. After I read this, it occurred to me that the problem is that I'm not living my life based on something printed on a shirt that some little 8 year old who thinks that he's a real hardcore badass would wear. Silly me.

I actually kind of like that saying, but not literally. To me it means you play to win -- or nothing. We certainly didn't go up to Stillwater hoping for "2nd".

Whatever.

Really, I was just trying to have the last say on every thread before bedtime.

This the first time that I have ever been excited about the start of the Astros season. It appears that we have what we need to make a run for it. Go Stros!!!!!!!!!!!!

why not be concise and just leave it at

Assuming Wheeler does come back one day and assuming he gets Longhorn crazy again, it wouldn't be far fetched to think he would have a plan to go to some bowl or make up shirts or plan a renegade cancun trip.

Renegade Cancun Trip. Anybody up for that ?
