I don't. And I'll tell you another thing - I think people will be surprised at the accurate dipiction (not polls) of what middle America thinks of the war. I also think that many Americans do not think that the government needs to increase taxes or spend more of the current ones to improve the economy.

If you take a look at who the electorate has put into power over the last decade or so, it's pretty obvious that the public at large doesn't give give a damn if the government spends every last red cent that it brings in and then some.

Byrne also addressed the Aggies' move last year from Nike to adidas as the department's apparel provider.

He said he met with a Nike representative and requested the same deal as A&M's chief rival, Texas.
