Regarding the Herman thing, his small sample size of results is better than 99% of all coaches in the history of the game. But that isn't the reason why Saban flew Herman out three times this past summer (after doing so last January before his championship game against Clemson). And it isn't the reason he'll be our new coach, nor is it why he'll have incredible success here. The reason for those things is because his player-talent independent abilities and processes are already among the elite in college football.

Well then let's get the Go Fund Me for the statue ready.

The success pays for the statues. Save your money for plane tickets in January.

Barring a historic comeback, Herman will have 2 wins over teams currently in the CFB Playoff Top 10 this season.

Compare that to Strong's 1 win over a team with a record over .500 this year.

But don't worry... Strong told us Texas would never lose 5 games again in 2014 so it's all good!

Just wanted to remind everyone that on Page 1 of this thread Matt said he was on board with Herman if he beat Louisville.....welcome to the dark side.

Unfortunately we have and admin than prescribes in clown shows so we'll get a front row seat to see him kick peoples ass at LSU.

I'm not sure I said exactly that, but I did say this was more about losing confidence in Herman than it was gaining confidence in Charlie. Great game tonight, no doubt, but it does raise questions about how THAT team lost to SMU.

To me, it was Herman or bust (get out of here with Harsin, Fedora, etc.), and tonight certainly made me feel better about that hire if it comes to that.

A well prepared football team. If it comes to that, we have alignment here.

They got quite a few guys back from injury. Herman said on the radio the other day that he felt like the Louisville game would be the healthiest they had been since the OU game.

Hahahaha 4 chimys margs and fat thumbs don't mix.

Moral of the story we have an administration who likes to talk like we are a football blue blood, but their actions don't back it up. See the Mack firing and Saban flirting and Strong hiring fiasco. The OC hiring embaraseent last year. And now letting the future of the program ride on the results of one game against a .500 team as opposed to the full 3 year body of work.

Gotcha. Well we need a new AD before he hire a new football coach, IMO. If we want to do both in the next month then I would not complain.

Chay's attention to detail is obviously lacking. We might need to replace him with another poster soon.

Which just further proves my clown show point. Bama, Michigan, Ohio St, those programs aren't run like total circuses.

But we shouldn't get rid of him unless we know we can get Chip Brown to come over here and post and not have to settle for someone from BOFZ.

I said all week that he shouldn't be on the plane home if we lost this game. My heart hurts for him and his family, but this is a tough job and that's why you make the big bucks.

Hopefully the calls have already started.

Seriously??? There's lots of young teams that could beat Kansas. Heck, our LMFZ flag team from several years back might beat them. This young team beat better opponentsoon than Kansas this year.

Strong has to go. Period.
