Taking a little golf trip this summer

Postby beam,coke,&horns on Fri Feb 05, 2016 7:57 am

One of our friends here in Katy is an author. Her pen name is Sophie Jordan. She goes to a conference every year where they have a silent auction and one of the prizes is always a castle for a week in Scotland. 4 couples agreed to pitch in and she won it. The husbands immediately got tee times at turnberry, then we tried for troon, and entered the lottery for St. Andrews old course. We got the old course a month or so ago, and this morning came off the waitlist at troon. So we will be playing troon 8 days after the open. Turning 40 over there won't be so bad. Big bucket list item coming off the board.

So awesome. Color me jealous.
why don't you run back to the sandbox where the rest of the kids are playing so the adults can have a discussion...it's over there....you see Howie, he's over there with PMS knocking over other kids sandcastles...looks like fun.
