Nice win for Spurs today. Perfectly timed run by Dier to find the back of the net. Still need a more potent offense because they can't expect Lloris to be nails like that every single game.

Pretty much been watching soccer since 7:30, with a lunch break during first half of Arsenal-Palace. Now onto Seattle-Real Salt Lake. Um, yeah, it's not so good.

Everton-Leicester was a good one, but I missed the late equalizer while watching Spurs eke one out there at the end. Fun morning - my favorite thing about EPL is rolling out of bed on the weekend and you know you have games on to watch.

Good doubleheader tomorrow with Liverpool at 7:30 and City at 10.

Just finished on the DVR. Good "par save" there for Arsenal late.

Liverpool pulled out a similar one earlier this morning.

Would have preferred 3 points against West Brom, but after last years horrific start (1-7-1 in the first 9) I am happy to start with a point

I didn't know Junior Miller was an Arsenal fan. You might want to rethink this, Matt.

Is that worse than Derka?

Ben- what did you decide?

Yeah I knew he was. Part of the reason I choose them was because I wanted a team that might be discussed by people I already follow.

I'm a big Junior fan, besides the whole Sooner/Spurs affiliations.

My son randomly chose Arsenal (possibly based on the uniforms, er, kits) after initially choosing Chelsea, so I may be joining the Arsenal clan here.

Junior can barely pull off a Rangers segment.

Liverpool is getting Mario Balotelli so I'm officially on the bandwagon. I love that crazy bastard for all the good AND bad shit he brings to the field.

I love Mario, but he is not going to fill the Suarez void. Still, great pickup for Liverpool. If I were not established as a City fan, Liverpool would probably be the team I follow. I like their squad... even more now.

Though I hope City kicks that ass on Monday.

Everton needs to learn how to close out a game.

Guess that was soccer karma for getting the second goal when the linesman missed the offsides call.

Everton outplayed them for 80 minutes, but good on Arsenal storming back to claim the point.

Nice win for Spurs today. QPR is trash and their defense definitely reminded me of what Redknapp put out on the field during his days at White Hart Lane. Looking forward to seeing if this thing is for real when Liverpool passes through next week.

We'll try to soften them up for you tomorrow.

I fucking hate the Monday afternoon games, btw.

Jozy looking decent in his limited play, would like to see him break into the starters for a game here soon. Took a point from ManU today, I don't care how shitty they are, still fun to keep them from winning

I thought he might make something happen on that late break, but it's hard to overcome 1-on-2 at that level. And fuck ManU.

With a much improved midfield late last season, and some good signings, I think this year the team is better built to get him the ball up front on counters and set plays... If he doesn't get things going by midseason I can't see Sunderland keeping him, he'll end up somewhere in MLS or maybe back in the Dutch league

Someone called Milton Keynes Dons is beating Man U 4-0 in the Capital One Cup right now and that score line is very much deserved. This is hilarious.

Ha. I know that the top teams don't give a shit about League Cup but your reserves should still get past a team named Milton Keynes Don in fucking August.
