2014 US Open

Postby MBK271 on Thu Jun 12, 2014 12:17 pm

Nice start by Phil who I always pull for.

I picked Spieth in my golf pool and he's right there at the top.

Combine that with the start of the World Cup and Seth is a happy camper today!

College World series.... incredible weekend for sports!
why don't you run back to the sandbox where the rest of the kids are playing so the adults can have a discussion...it's over there....you see Howie, he's over there with PMS knocking over other kids sandcastles...looks like fun.

The guy is playing out of his mind.

US Open's are not supposed to be that low.

I blame the course and the USGA. Put me down for someone who hates the new look of Pinehurst #2.

US Opens are supposed to be about long courses, even longer rough, tight fairways and slippery fast greens.

We've got the British Open coming up next month... I don't need to see the US version without the wind this week. [-(

And I agree with Seth. That's weird to type.

Besides Kaymer it felt like I saw 2 GIR in about 2 hours. That's not what golf is about.

I thought it sucked. It was over on Friday and I thought the course sucked. It looked like some shitty west Texas muni course.

Johnny Miller even said yesterday you had guys missing fairways but still getting good enough lies to get it on. The US Open is supposed to be thick rough. Like Miller said guys should have been hitting shots that would have been lucky to go 100 yards after missing the fairway that bad.

Just wasn't very fun to watch I didn't think.

Nope. Kept waiting for three days for SOMETHING interesting to happen and it never did.

Congrats to Kaymer, hell of a performance in relation to his peers, but worst US Open ever.

Agree. I normally enjoy the US Open more than The Masters, but the course didn't seem all that great and I had zero interest after Kaymer had left the field in the dust by lunchtime on Friday.

I had zero interest altogether, for maybe the first time ever.

Tiger Woods 14 prepared me for the new look of No. 2.

However, I probably didn't watch more than 2 hours of coverage combined, which is unheard of for me.
