Matt and Bonds, where did you guys stay on your trip? I talked to a guy today that said the Road Way Inn was charging $500 a night. That's crazy, but it was Masters week. Supply and Demand.

Luckily, we got to stay two nights in a house rented by a supplier. They had two houses rented. They were about 4-5 miles from the golf course. Took about 15 minutes to get there with the traffic. They also catered all our meals during the stay.

I think we will be invited again next year. Fingers crossed.

We stayed in Athens, about 85-90 miles away. So we had a drive, but it wasn't too bad.

Yeah drive from Athens wasn't bad at all. We would leave by 5:30 every AM and stop at the greatness of Bojangles for breakfast and still be pulling into the parking lot by 7:30. Worth the drive for a $130ish a night Hilton in Athens compared to the ridiculous prices in Augusta. Would possibly consider Columbia, SC next time as it's a little closer and a bigger town than Athens.

We stayed at the Scottish Inns. I booked it pretty close to the Masters but it was only $179 a night. Worst hotel I've ever stayed in EVER. Heard a backpage hooker setting up her next deal on the steps outside my room. They had saran wrap around the mattresses. None of it mattered much though because we were in Augusta.

Gross. I would have gone to target and bought my own sheets and blankets and disinfectant, similar to my experience in Stillwater.

Columbia?? We stayed Saturday night in Columbia on the way back from the NASCAR race. It's about 65-70 minutes from Augusta.

I'm going gypsy hunting next time I'm there.

North Augusta is home to several large gypsy clans. They live in mansions just across the river. The women are tending to get pronounced foreheads, little noses, and small chins from incest and inbreeding among family and clans.

The men appear to look normal. They are not suffering the deformities like the women are in looks. They still have problems with babies though. This according to our host that's lived in Augusta for 14 years. Also said they train the children to steal and pickpocket.

I googled this when I got back home. It's true. Gypsies and mansions in north Augusta.

He said you can spot the women easily. He even knows of gypsy women offering to pay regular town dudes to impregnate 4-5 gypsy women. They want to get some fresh blood into the clan.

I'd guess they are the same as or are similar to those Irish Traveler clans. These gypsies travel around the country and get paid up front to do jobs. Then they do about 25% of it and vanish.

That's my history lesson for today

I found a place online where you can buy most all of the stuff in the Masters golf shop. However, the price is about double. Don't know if it is an official masters site or not. It's professional looking though.

I'm having my name silk screened on the back of my masters chair so I can easily identify it in the crowd of chairs.

Because the pouch where you can stick your business card is to inconspicuous??? Don't ruin your chair like that. That move screams doucheball.

It isn't hard to find your chair. But if you do, make sure it is in pink.

I didn't say it was hard to find my chair. I saw a couples chairs that had their names embroidered on the back. I liked the idea. It makes my chair more special than the other thousands on the course. Rookies!

I bought two chairs walking in. I sold them both walking out. Net loss of $10 for 2 reserved Masters seats at 2 diff locations for 8 hours. Nothing to carry, no shipping or travel costs. I liked.

My point is just get another chair next time. It's not like they are great chairs.

Because couples sporting the same gear is a veteran move??? Yes you'll stand out in a "special" way.

Didn't charge me anything either, since I buy a lot of T-Shirts from them.

Queen of LFZ, I actually wanted it bigger. I'm happy with with it. They centered under the masters logo. Good idea if you ask me.

Btw, you guys have a beautiful child. I've seen matts pics on Instagram. Congrats to you and Matt. Just wanted to let you know. I'm happy for you guys even though you both apparently ignored all my brilliant naming choices back in the day. LOL

When is kid number 2 going to happen?

It woulda been alot harder to laugh at you if you would've had Mr. Peabody instead of Kirk.
