Greetings from Carrizo Springs, Texas

Southwest Texas sucks and is ugly as hell. I've been around Carrizo Springs, Texas as well as Eagle Pass, Dilley, and Tildon the past few days. It's all mesquite, cactus, tumble weeds. Ugly land.

About 3 weeks ago, I was in west Texas around Midland/Odessa. 2 very ugly towns and land. Lots of Oil & Gas going on in these places though. That's why I'm there.

Sell the business and become a oil field worker?

Oh no! I enjoy selling paint to the oil & gas industry. It's just brutally ugly country. I'm filling in for Fun Sponge while he's in Russia. These O&G guys work 90+ hours a week. Their day starts at 5:30am. I made 3 sales calls by 7:00am today. Their world is totally different than our world as far as hours worked in a day.

Back down in the Carrizo Springs, Dilley, Cuero area this week with fun sponge. Stayed the night in Round Rock last night. Bought myself one of those huge Round Rock donuts this morning. Took it home to the family. Hit golf balls at Blue Bonnet driving range north of San Antonio. Always need to hit a few golf ball balls.

Was at that the Briscoe Ranch Thursday. That guy earns $39 million a month with all the wells on his humongous ranch.

Got to participate in a crawfish boil. That was yummy.

I'm not sure. It was a few hundred thousand acres. He's the biggest individual land owner in Texas. He has several ranches. His biggest is not as big as King Ranch. He also earns 15 million a year from the oil company for damages.

How many things could you get screen printed if you had $15 mil in the bank?
