Woohoo!

I was going to have to write a lengthy Notice of Possible Disciplinary Action (the letter you get shortly before you get fired) this afternoon and instead, the guy quit.

I love it when that happens!

Wait.... It's possible for a government agency to fire someone???

I've always understood that the trick wasn't firing them. It was keeping them fired.

Congrats on a less stressful start to the weekend, by the way.

Very good point. We have some crazy administrative law judges that do tend to reinstate terminated employees, but if you follow the process, you can usually make it stick.

That's awesome, love it when things fall into place like that.

Also very rare, so enjoy this moment.

I'd like to see one of these lengthy disciplinary letters that you routinely write. I'm intrigued. Post your very best one. Your masterpiece of disciplinary letters! Of course change the name to protect the guilty.
