New Job Search: ESPN or...

Who would have thought when this board was created so many years ago that it would have an Emmy winner and a person with his name on the back of his Masters chair.

I would have put us at pretty good odds on the former. The latter is so unbelievable that we would have never fathomed its possibility.

I haven't looked around over here in quite a while, but I don't have any idea what or who this is referencing. Please enlighten.

Also, congrats to AtlLonghorn!!

Peabody embroidered his name on the back of the tailgating chair he bought at the Masters.

Embroidered? No thought he screen printed it? Embroidered may have not been as bad.

If we were to start a corporation named "KIRK" then he wouldn't be allowed to have the chair on the course right? Seems like a worthwhile troll to me

I had it silk screened. I thought about having it embroidered. However, you have the unsightly white patch on the other side.

I saw an embroidered chair with a persons name at the Masters. It stuck out in the huge sea/ocean of Masters chairs surrounding a green. I thought that was cool. It was easy to identify. You didn't have to go look at all those tiny business cards to find your chair. Seemed like a good idea.

I'm happy.

You should be happy too.

You should've pre-empted that with "On this board". Because in real life that is the Kirk trifecta. Having to hear a 45 minute story about how your dinner was served late during OU-Texas seems to be the poster child for criticizing, condemning , and complaining.

OK, thanks for the explanations.

I thought the internet was invented for the purpose of criticizing, condemning and complaining about a never ending list of things.

It wasn't served late. It was NEVER served. I even ordered first. As a result, I don't do big group post game OU/TX dinners anymore.
