I thought Bruno Mars at halftime a couple years ago was really really good, and that's from me who's not a fan of his music.

However I agree with you Kevin, let's mix it up a little. Wasn't it just two years ago that he played it?

Supposedly Bruno is going to "curate" the show.

And for the record Prince in Miami is still the greatest halftime
performance of all time.

If we're going to do reruns how about The Immortal Elvis Presto?

The Toadies have followed the shitty trend of releasing albums without much in the way of new music. A new album consisting of two new songs, acoustic covers of stuff from their back catalog and an acoustic cover of Heart of Glass can be found here:

The Ryan Adams version of 1989 hit at midnight. Not going to lie......I'm digging it.

I smell another parody Twitter account.

In other news, the two new songs on the Toadies album are pretty good.

Saw that this morning. K and I were planning to go back to Napa for a week for our first anniversary, which is the Saturday after those two shows, meaning I will likely be out there that week, unless we were to leave on the 13th.

Count me in as a fan of the 1989 Ryan Adams.

I would listen to this, since you're all raving about it, but I know nothing about either artist, so I am guessing I would be pretty lost. Maybe I should wait and see if the Barden Bellas cover it in Pitch Perfect 3?

As far as Ryan Adams goes, the Whiskeytown stuff and Heartbreaker would be a good jumping off point.

Whiskeytown is not on Spotify. Checking out Heartbreaker.

First song comes on and I can't find the seat belt.
