Ditto--first thing I thought of when I started seeing it on Twitter. Is Moore where Peabody lived/lives? Saying a prayer for him, Barry, OKC, and those with family and friends in the area--definitely concerned about how bad it looks.

I looked up the property tax records for Mr. P and mapped vs storm path.

Hopefully he and family were not home.

It's hard to say exactly, but he was at least extremely close.

That's close to where I had it. After more analysis I think he was about 1.2-1.5 mile north of the path. Assuming prelim path is right and if I even have the right address.

I think there is major damage about 3 miles to his east southeast, so he's probably OK then.. .?

Chay said he heard from Kirk and he and his family are okay, but they were within 3 miles of the tornado.

I heard from Debi. She's okay too. Her neighborhood was hit, but her house was spared.

Kirk pulled a George Jefferson and moved up outta here awhile back. Todd and I are the poor ones still left on the south side. :)

In all seriousness, we were a mile away. Feel so guilty for even feeling fortunate with so many so close to us going through the worst things a person should never go through. So many different stories and amazing horror and amazing grace. A really good friend of mine's wife teaches at Briarwood. She was laying on 4 kids to protect them at Briarwood while a brick wall fell on her. She was unconscious and had a broken ankle. It's hard for me to fathom but the love that teachers have for children never gets fully quantified whenever we are discussing pay scale for teachers.

No doubt, they saved lives.

Looks like Hurricane Wheeler is on his way to help this weekend. Hope they can do a little bit of good for someone.

Yep, I'm closer to Mustang, but not in Mustang. I'm about 4 miles SE of mustang. I'm right down the path when these things start forming up on I-44 and hit the ground. Fortunately, they always turn east about 3-4 miles from my current house. If you ever see one heading in a north east direction right towards Will Rogers World Airport, then I am toast for sure.

My previous house was about 3 miles SE of this one. The May 1999 tornado missed it by just a mile as it turned East at the last minute.

15-20 people in my house. I may need a good divorce attorney after this weekend.

This might make me a Wheelernik, but the next time one of those slap dicks on other sites manage to coordinate 4 trailers of stuff to Oklahoma is the next day they can criticize the guy.

Such an amazingly good deed.

Wish we were part of it!

I hope it all gets to the people that need it immediately.
