Byron Nelson 2011

I was going to wait a few weeks before mentioning this, but something came up today to make it imperative for discussion now.

Mastercard is runnning a promotion (saw it on the BNC Twitter feed.) They are selling all-inclusive one day villa passes on #18 for $100. Includes all food and beverages.

Matt, Kevin and I will for sure be on the course all weekend, so we're thinking we might do this on either Friday or Sunday. The logic is that Saturday we'll do #17 grandstands and the Pavilion and that this would be the day most of you could make it out (if you're not off doing something much cooler.)

If you're interested in doing the villa deal, speak up and we'll let you know when we pull the trigger.

Why is it on Memorial Weekend this year?

It was on Memorial Day a couple of years ago. For some reason they put the Colonial before it this year.

Wish it wasn't on Memorial Day weekend. We are throwing a Memorial Day party that Saturday (which all of you will be getting Facebook invites to).

With every passing day it is less likely that we go to SF for Memorial Day. Let me know when you need to pull the trigger and I'll figure out my status this weekend.

We have been putting off a Memorial Day family reunion, with Shawna's side in Kansas, for 3 years. Streak has to end. We will not be able to make it this year. Y'all have fun!

I'll be there.

Looks like I may be closing on a house that weekend pending inspection!
why don't you run back to the sandbox where the rest of the kids are playing so the adults can have a discussion...it's over there....you see Howie, he's over there with PMS knocking over other kids sandcastles...looks like fun.

Just got back from the Zurich and had a blast. Ended up spending Sunday in the Zurich corporate hospitality building. Spent half an hour talking to Archie Manning. Would love to do the nelson, but we celebrate my mom's birthday on that weekend.

Are you sure about that? The Nelson is the weekend of the 18th.

I thought the Nelson was memorial day. Must've been reading about last year. I'm too busy whipping your ass in wwf to pay close attention to this thread

Some years it has been on Memorial Day, but this year it is the week before.

Looking for an update before I hit the road to Dallas......is anyone going tomorrow or Friday, or just the weekend? I'll get there late tonight and have a couple of meetings in the morning, but I plan on being at the course as soon as possible if anyone is going to be out there tomorrow afternoon....cell is 512-426-9878.

If I can find a ticket to the 2011 Byron Nelson, how much will you pay me?

I've got a bunch of media passes I'll sell you to lots of sporting events. The 2010 Big XII championship game should be a good one. I think the upcoming 2009 Cowboy Thanksgiving game would be nice as well.
