Congrats to "These Are My People"

Postby Mr. Peabody on Fri May 07, 2010 11:58 pm

My buddy Rodney (he's been to Austin with me the last 2 times I went) got married this past Tuesday. He did it the easy and inexpensive way at the county court house on Tuesday.

I don't really care for the chick he married, but I love Rodney like a brother and wish him the best.

That's putting it mildly. And I agree. He's a great guy!

P.S. If your friends with him on Facebook you may want to delete him. His posts about being in love are getting to the ridiculous point.

With a record of 109-23 and 6 Big 12 titles in 10 seasons, Stoops has reason to be arrogant. But he is not. He is somewhere between humble and unimpressed.

Update: they have a baby on the way... due sometime in february.

they got their divorce papers in order, but the judge would not sign off and finalize the divorce until they both attended a parenting class together since they had a baby on the way.

they did the parenting class two saturdays ago and apparently had a nice time together at the class.

since then, they are attending marriage counseling and trying to make it work.

I hope it all works out for Stu.
