The new site portal is up and running, but I have not made it the default login page... If you want to use it, bookmark the following link...

Eventually this would just be http://www.lmfanzone.com but you would still be able to get to the old way of the front page being the forum list by going to http://www.lmfanzone.com/index.php or clicking "board index" on the portal

This portal site gives you instant access to the newest threads, most active threads, user's birthdays, site announcements, paypal donations, etc...

It will take some getting used to, but the old front page is a click away, or you can bookmark directly to it. More functionality can be included like upcoming birthdays, sitewide announcements, polls, etc…. I especially like how it show you the most recent topics and has a paypal donation link

between this and the iPhone app the site is slowly improving
